We are now officially in phase 2 of the release process for 1.6. This means that the functinality in the current development codebase is fixed, and anyone can use and test it, safe in the knowledge the the functionality won't change.
The effort from here to the final release will be cleaning up implementation and fixing bugs. This is the perfect opportunity for non-developers to get involved in the release process, from here we need as many people as possible using and testing Aqsis, particularly the new features and changed areas (as identified in the roadmap), and report bugs and issues. The more testing we get during this and phase 3, the more stable the final release will be.
